JD Garage didn't start as a business plan — it started as an obsession. Late nights in a single-bay unit, swapping motors and chasing the perfect line through the hills. Two decades later that obsession hasn't cooled; it just got a bigger workshop, better tools and a crew that lives for the same thing.
We specialise in Japanese performance platforms because that's what we know in our bones. From naturally-aspirated screamers to big-boost monsters, we treat every car the same way: like it has to survive a hard drive home and a harder one next weekend. No copy-paste tunes, no parts cannon, no jargon designed to confuse you into a bigger invoice.
What you get instead is straight talk, real engineering and a dyno sheet that backs up every claim. We'd rather lose a sale than sell you a setup that grenades a gearbox. That's the reputation we built on the street, and it's the one we protect in the workshop every single day.

We install our first in-house dyno — every tune since has left with proof, not promises.
Four Bays Deep
Demand for proper JDM builds outgrows the unit. We expand to the Marrickville workshop.
The Next Gen
A new generation of tuners joins the bench, blending old-school feel with standalone-ECU science.
