Varma was founded in 2008 by two friends — a refrigeration tech and a builder — who were tired of seeing families pushed into oversized, noisy systems they didn't need. Inspired by the Scandinavian idea of hygge, that quiet sense of cosiness and contentment, they set out to build a different kind of heating and cooling company. One where honest advice, tidy workmanship and the genuine feeling of a comfortable home come first, and the hard sell never comes at all.

Eighteen years later, that founding promise still guides everything we do. Our technicians are fully licensed, manufacturer-certified and trained to treat your home with the same respect they'd give their own.
