It is fashionable to believe wireless has made cables obsolete. The opposite is true. Every access point, camera, doorbell and smart device that connects without a wire still terminates, somewhere, on a physical backbone. A building wired with proper structured cabling simply works; one that relies on a mesh of repeaters and powerline adapters fights itself forever.
Structured cabling means a deliberate, certified topology: every outlet home-runs back to a central comms rack, labelled, tested and documented.
