The art of the motor car, preserved.
Coachbuilders and restorers of fine British and classic European cars. No clinical white walls, no shortcuts — only analog craft, patient hands, and a reverence for automotive history.
The antithesis of the clinic
Old-world craft, kept stubbornly alive.
The modern restoration is a clinical thing — fluorescent light, latex gloves, a car treated like a patient. We have never worked that way. Here a motor car is met with oak benches, brass tools, the smell of leather and linseed, and the unhurried attention of people who learned their trade by hand.
We restore fine British and classic European cars the way they were built: panel by panel, seam by seam, with originality judged sympathetically and nothing hidden from the owner. The result is not merely a beautiful car — it is a piece of history, made right and made to last.

How a motor car is made right
Assessment
We meet the car, document its condition honestly, and agree a written brief — concours, fast tourer, or sympathetic conservation.
Disassembly
Strip to bare metal, every component catalogued and photographed. Nothing is hidden; everything is recorded.
Craft
Coachwork, mechanicals, trim and finish — each by a specialist hand, to the standard the marque deserves.
Commissioning
Careful assembly, running-in and road testing, then handed back with a full photographic record of the work.
A 1958 Jaguar XK150, returned to glory.
Eighteen months at the bench: a bare-metal restoration, hand-formed repair sections, an engine rebuilt and balanced in-house, a cabin re-trimmed in correct Connolly hide, and a finish flatted by hand until it ran like water. Shown on the lawn this spring — and judged best in class.

“They didn't restore my father's Alfa. They gave it back its soul — and left every honest mark of its history exactly where it belonged.”
Henry Aldridge · Custodian, 1962 Giulietta Spider
