Engineering & commissioning

Altitude-corrected load calculations, full system design and meticulous commissioning that guarantees performance.

Design is where altitude is won or lost

Most climate-system failures at altitude are not equipment failures — they are design failures. Air density, combustion behaviour, heat-pump capacity and ventilation rates all shift as you climb, and a system sized with valley assumptions will under-perform from day one. ALPCREST design begins by correcting for exactly these factors, producing load calculations that reflect the real conditions your chalet faces at its specific elevation and exposure.

From those numbers we engineer a complete, coordinated system: equipment selection, duct and pipe routing, zoning strategy, controls architecture and back-up provision. For new builds we work alongside your architect and contractor from early stages, integrating plant space and service routes cleanly into the design rather than fighting for room later.

Commissioning that proves the promise

A design is only a promise until it is commissioned. This is the step too many installers skimp on — and where ALPCREST is uncompromising. Once installed, every system is balanced, measured and tuned on site: airflows set at each terminal, flow temperatures optimised, heat-recovery efficiency verified, and controls programmed to your patterns of use.

We hand over full documentation — design figures, commissioning results and operating guidance — so you know precisely what your system should deliver and can hold it to that standard. It is the difference between equipment that is merely installed and a system that genuinely performs, season after season.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Gladly. Early involvement lets us integrate plant and service routes cleanly, and it produces a far better, tidier result than retrofitting around finished work.

Complete documentation: design figures, commissioning measurements and clear operating guidance — so performance is transparent and accountable.
