When a traction battery develops a fault, owners are too often presented with a single, brutal option: a complete pack replacement costing as much as a small car, sometimes enough to write the vehicle off entirely. It is one of the great misconceptions of EV ownership, and it pushes perfectly repairable cars to the scrapyard. The truth is that a battery pack is modular, and a fault almost always lives in one or a handful of modules — not the whole assembly. Replace or recondition those, and the pack lives on.
Our module-level approach starts with the precise diagnostics we are known for. We map the entire pack, identify exactly which modules have degraded or failed, and confirm the rest are sound. Then, in our dedicated high-voltage facility, we carefully open the pack, replace the offending modules with carefully matched units, rebalance the assembly and verify the whole pack performs as it should. Where modules are weak rather than dead, reconditioning and rebalancing can restore meaningful capacity without any replacement at all.
