Maintenance & Servicing

Equipment does not fail without warning — it drifts. Scheduled servicing catches the drift before it becomes a breakdown.

Maintenance & Servicing
[ Scope of Work ]

Every HVAC system degrades quietly between the day it is commissioned and the day it fails. Filters load, coils foul, refrigerant charge wanders, electrical connections loosen and drains silt up. None of these announce themselves until the system stops, by which point the cheap fix has become an expensive one. KLIMAWERK's maintenance programme exists to measure that drift on a schedule and correct it before it costs you comfort, energy or equipment.

A standard service visit follows a fixed checklist rather than a quick glance. We clean or replace filters, wash condenser and evaporator coils, check refrigerant pressures against the commissioning figures, measure superheat and subcooling, inspect and tighten electrical terminations, test capacitor and compressor health, clear and treat condensate drains, and verify thermostat calibration and control operation. Each reading is recorded against the system's history so we can see trends, not just snapshots — a slowly rising compressor amperage tells us far more than a single in-spec number.

That record is the real product of a maintenance contract. By holding every system's figures over time, we predict failures rather than react to them. A capacitor reading near the edge of tolerance is replaced at a scheduled visit for the price of the part, not on a 38-degree afternoon at emergency rates. Manufacturer warranties almost always require documented servicing to remain valid; our reports are the evidence that keeps your cover intact.

We offer plans scaled to the equipment and how hard it works. Residential systems are typically serviced annually before the cooling season; commercial and high-duty plant is serviced quarterly or to a custom interval matched to its run hours. Contract clients receive priority scheduling, reduced labour rates on any repairs, and a standing service history they can hand to an insurer, auditor or building manager without scrambling.

The economics are straightforward. A maintained system holds close to its commissioned efficiency, drawing the power it was designed to draw rather than creeping upward year on year; it runs quieter, lasts years longer, and fails far less often. The modest cost of planned servicing is repaid several times over in avoided energy waste, deferred replacement and breakdowns that simply never happen. Maintenance is not an expense against the system — it is the cheapest performance you will ever buy.
