Custom Paint & Pinstriping

Paint is the first thing anyone sees and the last thing you should compromise. Candy coats, metalflake, kandy fades and hand-laid pinstriping — applied by people who treat a tank like a canvas.

Great custom paint is a craft measured in patience and dust control. A deep candy coat or a flawless metalflake is built up in many layers, each cut back and cleared, until the finish has the kind of depth you can fall into. There are no shortcuts, and it shows the moment a rushed job sits next to a real one.

We offer the full traditional palette — candies, flakes, kandy fades, pearls, panel work and gold-leaf — plus modern matte and satin finishes for the blacked-out builds. And we still do it the old way where it counts: hand-laid pinstriping, lettering and gold-leaf applied by a brush, not a printer.

The paint menu

  • Candy and kandy fade coats with serious depth
  • Metalflake — from subtle to full disco
  • Pearl, chameleon and colour-shift finishes
  • Traditional hand pinstriping and gold-leaf lettering
  • Panel paint, scallops, flames and lace work
  • Matte, satin and clear-over-bare-metal finishes

Prep is ninety percent of paint

Anyone can spray colour. The difference between a finish that lasts decades and one that bubbles in a season is everything that happens before the colour goes on — stripping, repairing, filling, blocking and priming until the surface is dead flat. We obsess over prep, because the paint is only ever as good as what is underneath it.

Pinstriping is the dying art we refuse to let die. A striper with a dagger brush, a steady hand and decades of muscle memory can lay a line no machine can match. It is the detail that signs a build, and on the right bike it is the difference between nice and unforgettable.

Colour that matches the build

We work with you on the whole scheme — how the colour reads in sun and shade, how it sits against the brass, leather and raw metal of the rest of the build, and how it ages. A custom is a coherent object, and the paint has to belong to it, not shout over it.

Frequently asked questions

How long does custom paint take?

Quality paint cannot be rushed — a full candy or flake job with proper prep and clear can take a few weeks. We build the schedule around curing and cut-backs, not the calendar.

Do you do hand pinstriping?

Yes, by traditional brush. Pinstriping, lettering and gold-leaf are laid by hand by experienced sign artists, not printed or vinyl.

Can you match an existing colour?

In most cases, yes. We can colour-match to a sample, a code or another part of your build, including custom mixes.
