Engine Rebuilds & Performance

A tired engine is a build with no future. We strip motors to the cases, rebuild them to spec and tune them on the dyno — for power you can trust a thousand kilometres from home.

The engine is the one component you cannot fake. A gorgeous custom with a tired motor is heartbreak waiting to happen. We rebuild engines from the cases up — measured, blueprinted and assembled with the patience the job demands — so the heart of your bike is as sorted as the rest of it.

Whether it is a worn classic that needs new life or a healthy motor you want to make meaner, we work the full range: honest rebuilds to factory spec, mild performance packages, and serious big-bore and stroker builds with the supporting mods to make them last.

Engine work we take on

  • Full strip-down, inspection and blueprinted rebuild
  • Bore, hone, deck and crank work
  • Big-bore and stroker displacement kits
  • Performance cams, valve springs and head porting
  • Carburettor rebuilds, jetting and EFI tuning
  • Dyno tuning with air-fuel ratio dialled for longevity

Measured, not guessed

Real engine work is done with a micrometer, not a feeling. We measure every clearance — bore, ring gap, bearing tolerance, valve lash — against spec, and we tell you what we find. No mystery, no "she'll be right." When a motor leaves here it does so with a documented build sheet of exactly what was done and to what tolerance.

Power has to be reliable to count. Anyone can make a motor that screams for one dyno pull and grenades on the freeway. We build for the long haul — the right pistons, proper assembly lube, correct torque sequences and a tune that keeps the air-fuel ratio safe under sustained load. Fast is easy; fast and durable is the craft.

The dyno tells the truth

Every performance build ends on the dyno, where we tune the fuelling and ignition for clean, safe power across the whole rev range — not just a headline horsepower number. You leave with a printout and, more importantly, an engine that behaves the same on a cold morning as it does on a hot afternoon.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my engine needs a rebuild?

Smoke, knocking, low compression, oil consumption and a general loss of power are common signs. We do a compression and leak-down test to tell you honestly what is going on inside.

Will more power hurt reliability?

Not if it is built right. We size the components and tune the fuelling to keep the engine safe under load. Reliable power is the only kind we are interested in.

Do you tune on a dyno?

Yes. Every performance build is tuned on the dyno so the fuelling and ignition are dialled across the rev range, with the air-fuel ratio set for longevity.
