Clear the blockage, reclaim the power
A blocked DPF robs your truck of power, dumps your fuel economy and eventually pulls it off the road in limp mode. We clean filters properly, fix the cause and get your emissions system breathing again.

Modern diesel emissions systems are brilliant when they work and brutal when they do not. The diesel particulate filter traps soot from the exhaust and periodically burns it off in a process called regeneration. But stop-start work, short runs, a failing sensor or an underlying engine fault can stop that regeneration happening properly — and once the filter clogs, the truck loses power, warning lights cascade across the dash, and the engine drops into limp mode to protect itself. Suddenly a forty-tonne earner is crawling at walking pace and going nowhere near a deadline.
Plenty of workshops will try to bandaid the problem with a forced regen and send you on your way, only for the truck to be back a fortnight later. We do it differently. We clean the filter properly using specialist equipment that removes the trapped soot and ash the regeneration process leaves behind, restoring it close to factory flow. Just as importantly, we diagnose why the filter blocked in the first place — because a DPF that clogs early is almost always a symptom of something upstream, not the disease itself.
Our DPF and emissions service
- Off-vehicle DPF cleaning that removes both soot and baked-on ash
- Forced and service regenerations done correctly, not as a quick fix
- Full emissions fault diagnosis — sensors, EGR, injectors and dosing systems
- AdBlue / SCR system testing, repair and dosing-fault rectification
- Differential-pressure and temperature sensor testing and replacement
- Root-cause investigation so the filter does not simply block again
Why filters really block
A diesel particulate filter is a messenger, not the culprit. Premature blocking is usually driven by something else — leaking or worn injectors dumping extra fuel, a sticking EGR valve, a turbo not making boost, a coolant or oil issue, or simply a duty cycle that never lets the engine get hot enough to regenerate. If you only clean the filter and ignore the cause, you are signing up to do it again and again. Our diagnostic process finds the real reason, fixes it, and turns a recurring headache into a one-time repair.
Power and economy you can feel
A properly cleaned and correctly functioning emissions system makes an immediate, measurable difference. The engine breathes freely again, boost and power come back, the dash clears, and fuel economy returns to where it should be — which on a truck doing big kilometres is real money back in your pocket every single week. You also avoid the far larger bill of a replacement filter, which can run into many thousands of dollars when a clean would have done the job.
Don't keep nursing a truck in limp mode. Book a DPF and emissions assessment and we'll get it breathing, pulling and earning again.
DPF Cleaning & Emissions questions
In the large majority of cases a proper off-vehicle clean restores the filter and saves you the cost of a new one. We only recommend replacement when a filter is genuinely cracked or damaged, and we'll show you why.
Repeated blocking is almost always caused by an upstream fault — injectors, EGR, turbo, sensors or duty cycle. We diagnose and fix the root cause so the problem doesn't return.
Yes. We test and repair the full emissions system including AdBlue dosing and SCR faults, which often trigger derates and warning lights alongside the DPF.
