A competition interior does two jobs: it sheds dead weight and it keeps the crew safe and able to work. We strip out everything that does not earn its place, then build back a cockpit that protects driver and co-driver and lets them perform over long, physical stages.

Every safety item is fitted to the rulebook with in-date certification — FIA seats, correctly geometried harnesses, head restraints, fire suppression and the mounting that makes them legal and effective rather than just present.

Seats and harnesses fitted properly

An FIA seat is only as safe as its mounting. We fabricate proper side mounts tied into the cage or floor, set the seat at the right position for the driver and co-driver, and ensure helmet and head-restraint clearance. A seat bolted to flimsy factory rails defeats the entire point.

Harnesses have to be geometrically correct to work. We mount the lap, shoulder and crotch straps at the angles the standards require, anchored to the cage harness bar, so in an impact the belts hold the body in the seat instead of letting it submarine or load the spine. Both crew members get the same standard of fitment — the co-driver is not an afterthought.

A co-driver office that works at speed

The co-driver reads notes flat-out over rough ground for hours. We build their side to suit: a footrest and bracing so they are stable enough to read, intercom and lighting positioned correctly, and roadbook and note-board mounting within easy reach. A co-driver who is being thrown around cannot call notes, and a driver who cannot trust the notes is slow.

We also fit the fire-suppression system to the rules — plumbed nozzles aimed at the engine bay and cockpit, with pull handles reachable by the crew and an external marshal — and lay out the kill switch, master controls and warning lights as one coherent, scrutineer-ready package.
