Suspension is where rally cars are won and lost. Power gets you down the straight; suspension gets you through the rough stuff with the tyre still touching the ground. We specify, fit and tune long-travel, fully rebuildable damper packages built for the punishment of unsealed surfaces.

A good gravel setup has to do two contradictory things at once — stay compliant over stutter bumps and washboard, yet control a fully-loaded car landing off a crest. That balance comes from matched springs, valving and bump stops, then validated by corner-weighting and a proper geometry alignment.

Dampers built for the surface you race on

We work with motorsport-grade remote-reservoir dampers that can be re-valved and rebuilt between events. Gravel cars run long travel and softer initial valving to keep the wheels following the ground; tarmac builds get firmer, lower setups for sharper response. We set the package up around your car, your weight distribution and the events on your calendar.

Every damper we fit can be serviced. Rally suspension takes a beating — oil breaks down, seals wear, and a tired damper quietly robs you of grip long before it fails outright. We dyno-test on rebuild so you know each corner is matched and consistent, not just "topped up".

Geometry and corner weights that make the tyre work

Once the hardware is on, the setup work begins. We corner-weight the car with you (or representative ballast) in it, set ride heights, then dial in camber, caster and toe for the surface. Small geometry changes have huge effects on how a rally car turns in, rotates and puts power down out of a hairpin.

We log a baseline setup sheet for every car so changes are repeatable. Want more rotation on tight gravel and more stability on fast roads? We can give you a documented "fast" and "tight" setup you can swap between events instead of guessing.
