On a rough stage the underside of the car is the front line. A single buried rock or a hard landing can hole a sump, crush a gearbox or tear a fuel line — and that is your event over, often with an engine to rebuild on top of it. Proper underbody protection turns those hits into a loud noise and a scratch.
We design and fabricate full underbody armour packages tailored to your car: front bash plate and sump guard, gearbox and transfer-case protection, fuel-tank shielding and control-arm guards where the terrain demands it.
Armour where the hits actually land
We build from aircraft-grade aluminium or composite depending on the weight target and the severity of your events. The leading edge is angled to deflect and ramp over obstacles rather than catch them, and the plate is shaped to spread load into strong points on the chassis instead of hanging off the sump bolts.
Coverage is matched to the car. A front-engined gravel car needs serious sump and steering protection; an all-wheel-drive car also needs the centre and rear diffs and the fuel tank shielded. We map the vulnerable components on your specific car and protect the ones that will end your day.
Serviceable in a 20-minute service halt
Protection is useless if you cannot get the plate off in a service park to check for damage or change oil. We mount everything on captive, rally-friendly fixings so a plate drops in minutes with the tools in your service kit — and ventilate and drain it so it does not turn into a mud-and-water trap that cooks your engine.
Every plate is made to fit the car, not bodged from a universal blank. That means clean clearances around the exhaust and steering, no rattles, and a finish that bolts straight back on after a heavy season of abuse.
