Suspension built for the load, not just the look
A properly specified lift transforms how your rig drives loaded, towing and off the bitumen. We match springs and shocks to your real-world weight.

Most touring rigs ride badly because they are running springs designed for an empty tray. The moment you bolt on a bull bar, winch, drawers, water and a couple of jerry cans, factory suspension sags, bottoms out and wallows through corners. We start every suspension job by weighing or accurately estimating your laden setup, then specify a kit that holds the correct ride height with all your gear aboard. That is the difference between a lift that looks the part in the carpark and one that actually performs on a corrugated track.
We are an authorised fitter for Old Man Emu, Dobinsons and Ironman 4x4, which covers everything from a comfortable two inch tourer through to a heavy duty expedition build. For LandCruiser 79 and 76 Series, GU Patrols and the common Ranger, HiLux and D-MAX wagons, we have proven spring rates and shock valving on the shelf and the experience to fine tune them.
Constant-load springs done properly
Constant-load coils and leaf packs are rated to carry a specific additional weight while sitting at the right height. If you constantly run a heavy drawer system and long-range tank, a constant-load rear spring keeps your stance level and your shocks working in the middle of their travel rather than crashing on the bump stops. Get the rate wrong and you either ride like a brick when empty or squat dangerously when loaded. We size them around how you actually travel.
For more demanding builds we fit remote-reservoir and monotube shocks that resist fade on long corrugated sections. The extra oil volume and separated nitrogen charge keep damping consistent when a standard twin-tube would have boiled and gone soft. Paired with the right springs, you get genuine control on washouts and real comfort on the highway run home.

Legal, aligned and tracking straight
A lift changes your geometry, so we correct caster with adjustable arms or bushes, reset your panhard rod to recentre the axle, and finish with a four wheel alignment. We keep your lift within signable limits and can advise where an engineering certificate is required for taller setups. The result is a vehicle that tracks straight at highway speed, sheds bump steer and wears its tyres evenly across thousands of kilometres. We also fit extended brake lines, longer shock absorbers and bump stop spacers so nothing is stretched or fouling at full droop, and we check your sway bar links and tail shaft angles to keep the whole package working in harmony.
Coil, leaf and IFS, all sorted
Different platforms need different thinking. A coil-sprung GU Patrol or 76 Series wagon responds beautifully to a quality coil and shock package, where we can dial in flex and articulation for technical work. A leaf-sprung 79 Series ute or trailer carries its load on the rear pack, so we tune the leaf rate and add helper or load-assist options for heavy trays. Independent front suspension on the Ranger, HiLux and D-MAX needs the correct strut assembly, diff drop and alignment to keep CV angles healthy. Whatever you drive, we know its quirks and build the lift to suit.

Suspension Lifts & Coilovers questions
Most touring builds are well served by a two inch lift, which clears larger all-terrains and improves clearance without upsetting handling. Taller lifts suit big tyre or competition builds but often need engineering certification.
Not if the springs are matched correctly. We spec the rate to your typical load so the rig sits level loaded and still rides comfortably when stripped back. Choosing a spring that is too heavy for an empty vehicle is the usual cause of a harsh ride.
Yes. We have kits and valving suited to the 300, 200 and 79 Series as well as Ranger, HiLux, D-MAX and Patrol platforms. We will confirm the right package once we know your accessories and load.
