RoughEdge Motors started the way most good workshops do — in a shed, out of frustration. Cars kept coming back from the "big name" shops half-finished: rushed tunes, hidden shortcuts, wiring looms that looked like spaghetti. We figured we could do it properly, so we did.
One roof, one crew
The idea was simple: keep the whole build under one roof. Too many projects die in the gap between shops — the engine builder blames the tuner, the tuner blames the fabricator, and the owner is left chasing everyone. Here, the same crew that assembles your bottom end also fabs the intercooler piping, lays the loom and dials the tune on our own dyno. Nothing gets lost in translation because nobody hands your car off.
Rough by name, precise by nature
Don't let the name fool you. "Rough" is the attitude — loud, unapologetic, built for the street and the strip. The work itself is anything but. Torque figures get logged. Tolerances get measured, not guessed. Every forced-induction build gets leak-tested before it sees boost. We'd rather tell you a job takes an extra week than hand back a car we wouldn't drive ourselves.
We build what we love
Skylines, Supras, Silvias, Evos, WRXs, RX-7s, Civics — Japanese metal is all we do. That focus means we know these platforms cold: the weak points, the good parts, the combinations that actually work and the ones that just look good on a forum. When you bring us a car, you're not paying us to learn on it.
Straight talk, every time
We'll tell you when a plan doesn't add up, when a part is a waste of money, or when the number you're chasing will cost you a gearbox. That honesty is the whole business. A car built right is a car that comes back for the next stage — not the next repair.
