Engine Swaps — 2JZ / RB / K

The heart transplant your chassis was born for.

Engine Swaps — 2JZ / RB / K

Sometimes the answer is not more parts on the engine you have, it is a completely different heart. A 2JZ, an RB or a K-series in the right chassis turns a good car into a legend. We handle the whole transplant, from fabricating custom mounts and sorting the wiring to making sure the finished car is something you can actually register and drive on the street, not a garage queen that never sees daylight.

Mounts And Fitment

Dropping a 2JZ into a chassis that never met one, or an RB or K-series where it was never meant to live, means the easy bolt-in fantasy ends fast. We fabricate custom engine and gearbox mounts, sort sump and steering clearance, and make sure the driveline sits at the right angle so your tailshaft and diff are not fighting each other. Radiator, intercooler piping and exhaust routing all get planned around the new engine rather than jammed in as an afterthought. The goal is an engine that sits like the factory could have built it, with room to service it and heat managed properly under a closed bonnet.

Wiring Done Properly

A swap lives or dies on the wiring, and this is where cheap jobs come back to haunt owners. We integrate the new engine loom with your chassis cleanly, whether that means adapting the factory harness, running a standalone ECU loom, or building a fresh harness for the swap. Gauges, immobiliser, charging, fans and sensors all need to talk to each other, and we make them do it without a birds nest of scotchlocks under the dash. Everything is loomed, labelled and fused so that when something needs attention in two years, it can be traced instead of guessed at.

Compliance In Mind

A swap that cannot be registered is an expensive ornament. We build with engineering and compliance in mind, keeping the work tidy and to a standard that an engineer can sign off, and pointing you toward the right approvals for your state. Emissions gear, mounting standards, brake and driveline matching and documentation all matter when it is time to make the car legal. We are upfront about what your particular swap will and will not pass, so you go in with clear eyes rather than discovering a problem after the money is spent.

The Supporting Package

A new engine changes what the rest of the car has to handle. More torque means the clutch, gearbox and diff need to be up to the job, and more heat means the cooling and intake need to be planned rather than crossed off later. We look at the whole car as a package, flagging the fuel system, brakes and driveline items that the swap will expose so you are not chasing a chain of failures the week after it fires up. Doing this up front means the finished car is a coherent build that works together, not a strong engine bolted to weak links waiting to break one by one.

Tell us the chassis and the engine you are dreaming about, and we will map out a swap you can actually drive on the road.
