Fuel System Upgrades

You cannot make power you cannot feed. The moment you add boost, bigger cams or E85, the factory fuel system becomes the weakest link, and a lean spike at the top of third gear is how good engines die. We build fuel systems that keep up with your goals, from the tank to the injector tip, sized properly and plumbed so the flow is there when the throttle is buried and the revs are climbing.

Injectors Sized Right

Injectors that are too small run out of headroom and force the tune lean at the worst possible time. Too big and idle and cruise turn nasty. We size injectors to your target power and fuel, favouring quality units with proper flow data so the tuner can characterise them accurately instead of guessing at dead time and flow curves. On E85 we go bigger again to account for the extra volume ethanol demands. Correctly sized, data-matched injectors mean a crisp idle, clean part throttle and a fuel curve that stays honest all the way to redline, which is exactly what your tuner needs to lean on the timing.

Surge Tanks And Twin Pumps

Hard cornering, low fuel and a big power target are a recipe for fuel starvation, and a pump that sucks air for even a moment can lean out and let go. A surge tank keeps the pumps fed no matter how the fuel slops around the main tank, and twin pumps give you the volume and the redundancy that serious power demands. We plumb pickup, return and breather properly so the surge tank stays full, and wire the pumps so they are controlled and fused correctly. For track cars this is not a luxury, it is the difference between finishing the session and trailering home.

E85 Ready Lines

Ethanol is hard on the wrong materials, so an E85 build needs lines, seals and fittings that will not degrade and dump fuel or contamination into your engine. We run ethanol-compatible hose and fittings, spec a suitable regulator and filter, and make sure the whole system from tank to rail is happy on the fuel you plan to run. Everything is routed away from heat, secured so nothing chafes, and pressure tested before it ever sees your driveway. Get the plumbing right and flex fuel becomes a genuine everyday power adder instead of a maintenance headache.

Rails, Regs And Pressure

A fuel system holds together at the rail and the regulator, and this is where marginal setups reveal themselves under load. We fit a fuel rail and rising-rate or 1:1 regulator that suit your injectors and target pressure, so the fuel pressure tracks boost and the injectors flow what the tune expects. Dead-head or return-style is chosen to match your platform and goals, and the whole system is bench-checked and then verified on the car. A regulator that cannot hold pressure at high demand quietly leans the tune out at the worst moment, so we prove the numbers on the gauge match reality before the car ever sees full boost on the dyno.
