A progressive controller ramps the nitrous in smoothly, softening the hit off the line and building the power in a way the tyres and the box can actually handle. That means you get the benefit of the shot without instantly turning the rear tyres to smoke or snapping something in the driveline. We set the ramp to suit your car and your use, so the nitrous adds usable, controllable power rather than an all-or-nothing hand grenade that is more spectacle than speed.
Safety Window Switches
Nitrous should only ever arm when the engine is in a safe place to take it, and that is what window switches are for. We wire in controls so the shot only fires within a safe rpm band, at wide-open throttle, and with fuel pressure and other conditions healthy, cutting the nitrous instantly if anything falls outside the safe window. Arming switches, purge and a tidy, fused install all form part of the package. Done this way, nitrous becomes a disciplined system that protects your engine, rather than a party trick waiting for the wrong moment to bite.
