Power you cannot put down is just noise and tyre smoke. Once the engine starts hitting hard, a tired factory clutch slips, and a gearbox never meant for that torque starts crunching and eventually lets go. We rebuild and upgrade clutches and boxes to match your power, so the drive from the engine reaches the road cleanly and the shifts stay sharp instead of turning into a lucky dip every time you grab a gear.

Twin-Plate Clutches

There is a point where a single organic clutch simply cannot hold your torque without slipping or needing a leg press to operate. A twin-plate clutch spreads the clamping load across two friction surfaces, holding serious power while keeping pedal feel civilised enough to live with in traffic. We match the clutch to your power, your driving and whether the car sees the street, the strip or the track, then set it up properly so engagement is clean rather than an on-off switch. Flywheel condition, alignment and bedding-in all get attention, because a great clutch fitted carelessly still judders and dies early.

Sequentials And Dogboxes

When you are chasing rapid, flat-shift changes and a factory synchro box keeps folding under abuse, a sequential or dogbox changes the game. Dog engagement takes clean, fast shifts that synchros never could, and a sequential lets you slam through the gears in a straight pull. These boxes demand respect, correct setup and a driver who understands them, and we are straight with you about whether your build and your use actually justify one. When it is the right call, we fit, shim and set up the box so it does the job it was built for without eating itself.

Synchros And Rebuilds

Not every gearbox needs to go exotic. Plenty of tired factory boxes just need an honest rebuild, and a crunchy third gear or a jumping-out-of-gear habit is usually worn synchros, baulk rings or bearings. We strip the box, inspect every gear, bearing and shaft, and replace what is worn rather than papering over it. Fresh synchros, bearings and seals bring the shift feel back, and correct oil and setup keep it there. Caught early, a rebuild is far cheaper than the shrapnel that follows when a neglected box finally detonates on a hard change.

Matched To Your Power

The clutch and box only make sense as a pair, matched to the torque you are actually making and the way you drive the car. There is no point in a race-spec clutch behind a stock box that will fold, or a bulletproof box behind a clutch that slips before it ever loads up. We look at the whole driveline together, from flywheel to output shaft, and spec each part so the weak link is not just moved one step down the line. That means honest advice about where your build sits, and a combination that holds up under repeated hard launches instead of surviving one clean pass and then giving up.
