Performance Exhaust & Headers

Flow freely, sound serious

A restrictive exhaust strangles power. We design and fabricate stainless headers and exhaust systems that flow, fit and deliver the note your build deserves.

Performance Exhaust & Headers

An engine is an air pump, and how easily it breathes out is just as important as how it breathes in. A factory exhaust is built to be quiet, cheap to produce and emissions-friendly, which usually means tight bends, restrictive mufflers and pipe diameters chosen for the showroom rather than the track. That backpressure is power your engine made and then threw away as heat and noise.

At XTC Motorsport we design and fabricate exhaust systems and headers that let the engine exhale properly. The aim isn't simply louder; it's a system sized and shaped to your engine and goals, so you free up genuine power, keep the gains where you use them, and end up with a note that matches the build instead of droning on the highway.

Headers that scavenge, not just connect

Headers are where the real flow work begins. Primary length and diameter, the collector design and how cylinders are paired all affect exhaust scavenging, the way one cylinder's pulse helps pull spent gas out of the next. Get it right and you build torque where the engine actually spends its time; get it wrong and you trade low-end response for a peak number you rarely use.

We fabricate headers to suit your engine's character and your power band, with smooth merges and consistent diameters that keep gas moving. Stainless construction means they survive the heat cycles of track use without cracking or rusting through.

Mandrel-bent, fully custom, properly fitted

From the collector back, pipe diameter is a balance: too small and you choke top-end power, too large and you lose velocity and low-down response. We size the system to your engine and use mandrel bends so the pipe keeps its full diameter through every corner, rather than the crushed bends that come off cheap mass-produced systems.

  • Custom stainless headers designed for your engine's power band
  • Mandrel-bent piping sized to your build, not a generic kit
  • Muffler and resonator selection tuned for note and drone control
  • TIG-welded stainless construction built to survive track heat
  • High-flow or sports cat options to balance flow and compliance
  • Clean fitment with proper clearances and secure mounting

A note that matches the build

Sound is part of the experience, and it's something we tune deliberately rather than leave to chance. Muffler and resonator choices let us shape the note, sharpen it under load while keeping cruising drone in check, so the car sounds serious at the track and stays liveable on the drive home. We talk through the character you want before we cut a single pipe.

If your build deserves better than a strangled factory system, let's design something that flows, fits and sounds right. Get a custom exhaust or header package designed and fitted for your car.

Performance Exhaust & Headers questions

No, oversizing the pipe can actually cost you low and mid-range power by losing exhaust velocity. We size the system to your engine and power band so it flows freely up top without hollowing out the response you use most of the time.

Yes, that's a matter of muffler and resonator selection and tuning. We can sharpen the note under load while using resonators to cancel the cruising frequencies that cause drone, so it's exciting at the track and liveable on a long drive.

We design and fabricate custom stainless systems in-house, which lets us size and route everything for your specific car and goals. If a quality off-the-shelf system suits your build and budget, we'll fit that properly too.
