Ready for lights out
A track day is the harshest test your car will face. Our pre-event prep covers brakes, fluids, fasteners and setup so the only variable left on the day is you.

Most track-day dramas aren't dramatic failures — they're small things that were fine on the street and quietly let go under real load. Brake fluid that's never been flushed, a worn ball joint, a loose caliper bolt, a coolant system on the edge. The track finds every one of them, usually at the worst moment.
Our pre-event prep is a methodical sweep of the systems that matter when the car is at full noise. The aim is simple: take the mechanical unknowns off the table so the only variable left on the day is the driver.
Brakes that survive the session
Brakes do the hardest work on track and they're the first thing to fade or fail when they're not prepped. We inspect pad material and thickness, disc condition, lines and caliper function, and flush in fresh high-temperature fluid because old, moisture-laden fluid boils and gives you a pedal that goes to the floor.
If your pad compound or fluid spec isn't up to the event you're attending, we'll tell you before you're standing on a dead pedal at the end of the main straight.
Fluids and cooling under sustained load
A street commute never asks your cooling and lubrication systems to work as hard as twenty hot laps do. We check oil condition and level, coolant strength and system integrity, and look for the weeping hose or marginal radiator that copes on the road but won't on track.
- High-temperature brake fluid flush and brake inspection
- Oil, coolant and fluid level and condition checks
- Torque check on wheels, calipers and key fasteners
- Suspension, bushes, ball joints and wheel-bearing inspection
- Tyre condition, pressures and corner-weight setup
- Belts, hoses and cooling-system integrity check
Fasteners and the boring stuff that matters
Vibration, heat and load loosen things. We torque-check wheels, caliper bolts and the fasteners that absolutely cannot back out at speed, and inspect suspension components, bushes and bearings for the play that turns into a problem under cornering load.
None of this is glamorous, but a wheel nut or a control arm is not where you want a surprise at the apex.
Setup so the car works with you
Once the car is safe, we make it fast. Tyre pressures, alignment and corner weights are set for the event so the car turns in predictably and puts its power down. A balanced setup is faster and safer than chasing lap time on a car that's fighting you.

Track Day Preparation questions
Aim to book at least a week or two ahead so there's time to order any pads, fluids or parts the inspection turns up. Leaving it to the day before risks finding a worn component with no time to fix it properly.
No. A standard service keeps a car healthy for street use, while track prep specifically targets the systems that come under sustained extreme load — brakes, fluids, fasteners and setup. We inspect for failure modes that simply don't appear in everyday driving.
Not at all. A well-prepared standard car with fresh brake fluid, good pads, healthy fluids and correct setup is safer and often faster than a heavily modified car that's been neglected. Sound preparation matters far more than a long mod list.
