// who_we_areWe wire buildings like the infrastructure they are.
Nexus Grid Electrical exists because too much electrical work is priced to a budget and built to a guess. We design, install and certify it as the safety-critical infrastructure it actually is.
An installation is only as safe as the calculation behind it.
Electrical work is invisible the moment the wall is closed up — which is exactly why it has to be right. A circuit that ignores its true load, an undersized cable, an uncoordinated breaker or a missing earth won't announce itself until it fails, and electrical failure is rarely forgiving.
We built Nexus Grid to close that gap. Every project begins with measurement and a load schedule, and ends with a tested, documented, compliant installation and a Certificate of Electrical Safety. We don't hand you a junction box and walk away; we certify the system and stand behind it.
How we work.
Calculation over guesswork
We don't eyeball a job. Every installation begins with a maximum-demand calculation and a documented load schedule, sized to AS/NZS 3000 and 3008.
The whole stack, one licence
Single-phase to three-phase, lighting to motor control, data to fire — one licensed contractor accountable end to end, no trade finger-pointing.
Compliant by design
RCD protection, MEN earthing, IP ratings and segregation are designed in from the first drawing, then proven with test results on handover.
Accountable after handover
We test what we install and document it. The Certificate of Electrical Safety we issue is the standard we stand behind for the life of the asset.
From a domestic ute to substation-grade work.
Founded as a domestic contractor
Started rewiring homes and upgrading switchboards, building a reputation for installations that passed inspection the first time.
Expanded into commercial fit-outs
Moved into three-phase distribution, retail and office fit-outs, and structured data cabling under ACMA registration.
Industrial & motor control
Added MCC builds, PLC-controlled machinery and high-load distribution to AS/NZS 61439, serving manufacturing and logistics.
Electrification & energy
Launched EV charging, solar/battery maintenance and energy-efficiency auditing as electrification reshaped client demand.
20 services, one accountable team
Today Nexus Grid spans the full electrical stack from a single power point to substation-grade distribution and 24/7 fault response.
Licensed, compliant, registered.
